New From Damon Moon & The Whispering Drifters.

We have been fans of Damon Moon & The Whispering Drifters and their bold, experimental take on Americana for a while now. So it was good to discover the band’s second LP entitled Lungs, Dirt, & Dreams (which was recorded in a cabin on a mountain near Tiger, GA.) will be released on February 21st via Adair Park Recordings.

Moon says of the record, “The whole idea of being able to take an extended period of time out of your life, to spend in an isolated environment out in the wilderness to create a record, is something that I think every musician dreams about (I know I have for many years).”

Taster, Loose Ends is an absolute gem, a gentle strum, a loosely insistent rhythm, hoarsely whispered vocals and a sweetly climactic chorus. Wonderful.
