This month’s Uncut magazine free Cover Disk features 16 tracks from new albums released in the UK this month.
Artists include Ty Segall & White Fence, Giant Giant Sand, I See Hawks In L.A., The Walkmen, Paul Buchanan, Oberhofer, Pond, Husky, and Slow Down, Molasses.
As always, it is available from any decent newsagents and is well worth picking up for the Levon Helm tribute and the best reviews section in any of the UK music magazines.
Here are a couple of our favourites from the CD: Spacin’ described as “mangled graft of Velvets chug and Stones insouciance” and Weird Dreams, “Beach Boys vocals and swooning guitars revive jangle-pop’s finest traditions.”
