Like all the big music magazines in the UK, Uncut is publishing their top 50 albums of the year in their current issue and thankfully unlike Q, they have managed to avoid the monumental foolishness of putting Florence & The Machine at Number 1.
They are also giving away a pretty decent cover CD with tracks from some of their favourite 2011 albums including Josh T Pearson, The War On Drugs, Drive-By Truckers, Wild Beasts, Fleet Foxes and more.
Anyway, it is available at all good newsagents now and is well worth getting – here are a couple of our own favourites to whet the appetite.
